Idemitsu Australia (IA) has been operating in Australia since 1978 and owns coal mining operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
IA is an Australian subsidiary of Japanese company, Idemitsu Kosan Co.Ltd.(www.Idemitsu.com), which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and adheres to its statutory reporting requirements for shareholders.
IA was previously known as Idemitsu Muswellbrook Coal Company Ltd and Apollo Resources Pty Ltd, before being renamed in 2007 to Idemitsu Australia Resources (IAR) and Idemitsu Australia (IA) in 2021.
