Boggabri Coal

Major sponsor for the 2009 Boggabri Campdraft.

 

Major sponsor of the annual Boggabri Carp Muster.

Actively promote school groups to visit site to educate young people about the mining industry.

Combined works with the NSW Department of Primary Industry in respect to the Namoi River such as:

  • Providing habitat logs for the re-snagging program on the river near Narrabri.
  • Conducting riparian rehabilatation works on various sections of the river.

Open comunication channels to deal with local community concerns and/or issues is demonstrated by the formation in October 2008 of a Community Consultative Committee ("CCC") established by Boggabri Coal Company.

Muswellbrook Coal Company

Active participation and support in the annual Upper Hunter Regional Show.

Supported initiatives by the the Muswellbrook Shire Council such as e-Waste Collection Day.  

Restoration on an old rail wagon which was placed at the Muswellbrook Shire Council office site. Dedication conducted in August 2008.

Involvement in local community schools, providing needed equipment and facilities. 

Supporting local cultural and historical events, providing support in various forms such as donations and provision of prizes to events such as "Carols by Candlelight" & the Muswellbrook historical society.
